Offers a combination between Hostel (on the first Level) and Hotel (on the second Level).
The Surf & Dive Marea Viva is an accommodation for people with an interest in any kind of water sports such as surfing, diving, windsurfing, kite surfing, swimming, snorkeling, body boarding, skim boarding or other activities related to the ocean. It is a place for guests who love to stay very close to the sea and to see, feel and breath in the ocean.
We offer two levels, with the hostel located on the first and the hotel located on the second level. The first level offers a communal kitchen for our hostel guests.
In the basement you will find our reception and tour desk, the breakfast-corner and our bar (”ScuBar”). The whole complex is decorated in a surf-characteristic style. We offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a great roof sun terrace.
The surroundings
Marea Viva is located close to the ocean. The surf spot “spew pits” is only 50 m away from the location and the lagoon beaches „los lagos“ are 200 m away. You can reach the FreshSurf school and surf lounge as well as the surfers beach within a 7 min. walk.
Furnishing and set-up
The rooms are bright and friendly in a mixture of canary- and surfer-style. The dominating colours are white, blue and brown with some orange. All our rooms have got en-suit-bathrooms with bath tub, bidet and toilet. Every room has its own fridge and safe availiable.

Our breakfast buffet includes hot and cold drinks as well as:
- Different spreads, Cold cuts of ham and cheese-variations
- Cereals and other brans, Fruits and raw vegetables
- Milk, yoghurt, different types of bread and rolls
